Important update: Congo's PCEC official enforcement

On January 19th 2024, an official note was published and signed by the Industrial Development and Promotion, Economy and Trade, and Finance Ministries confirming the mandatory application of PCEC programme. The note confirms the mandatory application of PCEC programme as of 1st February 2024 date of transport (BL, AWB, Road consignment).
This note mentions that a mandatory Certificate of Conformity is requested for all goods with a FOB value of CFAF 1,000,000 or more (approx. 1 524 euros).
