Product Certification

Cotecna offers a range of different product certification schemes for clients to ensure their products meet required national and international standards.

Product certification is key quality assurance measure that ensures products meet all necessary health, safety or quality requirements or regulations. This is particularly important in industries where poor quality control standards can have a large negative impact to consumers (such as with food, for example).

Cotecna is accredited by the relevant accreditation body to offer product certification for our clients and deliver the resultant certification mark. Currently the product certification schemes we cover include:

IFS Food Certification

IFS is a common food safety standard that helps retailers to ensure the food safety of their products and monitors the quality level of producers of retailer branded food products.

EU Organic Certification

The EU Organic Certification enables agriculutural producers and other stakeholders in the agri-food industry to ensure their organic products meet European Union standards and requirements.

China Organic Product Certification

The China Organic Product Certification enables your organic products to be commercialised within China, and defines the requirements for their production, processing, labeling and management.

China Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Certification

The China GAP Certification allows primary agricultural producers to demonstrate they follow environmentally and socially sustainable farming methods for their products within the Chinese market.

Global GAP and GRASP

GLOBAL G.A.P. certification is highly regarded for demonstrating on-farm food safety and sustainability, enabling producers to sell their products both locally and globally.

Selenium Product Certification

Selenium Product Certification aims to promote sustainable agriculture, assist in the standardized development of the industry, and help enterprises improve the quality of selenium-rich products and food.

Halal Certification

Cotecna is accredited by GCC Accreditation Center and notified by the United Arab Emirates MoIAT to provide Halal Certification services globally. In addition, Cotecna is accredited for Halal Slaughtering in Kenya.
