ECS Poland Receives GAFTA Fumigation Approval

We are pleased to announce that ECS Poland, part of the Cotecna Group, is now a GAFTA Approved Fumigator. EuroCargo Services (ECS) has notable presence across Europe, including German, Denmark and Poland. Specifically, ECS Poland has received the GAFTA fumigator approval as from March 2024.

The GAFTA approval means, ECS Poland is now listed on the GAFTA approved register of fumigators to provide fumigation services for grains in accordance with the GAFTA requirements.

ECS is a third-party inspections service provider with a key focus on quality control for grain, feedstuff and oilseeds. ECS fumigation services aim to eliminate or at least reduce live pest contamination in agricultural commodities. Globally, Cotecna offers fumigation services including:

• In-transit fumigation during voyages, covering ships and river units.
• Silos or warehouses fumigation.
• Railway wagons or road trucks fumigation.
