Cotecna Presents at the 30th ARSO General Assembly

Cotecna is proud to have attended and be a panelist at the 30th ARSO General Assembly held in Abuja, Nigeria, under the theme “Educate an African fit for the 21st Century - building a quality culture - ‘One market-one standard’.”

The panel discussion was hosted by Mr. Hermogene Nsengimana, ARSO Secretary General, and titled “Partnership for Effective Quality Infrastructure in Africa". The panel discussion focused on enhancing the continent's capacity to ensure high standards in goods and services through improved quality infrastructure.

Cotecna was represented in the panel by Meriam Ben Ayed, Director of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing VOC. Meriam emphasized the importance of Conformity assessment initiatives and practices that ensure that revenue generated is used to benefit National Quality Infrastructure in Africa.

Meriam also highlighted how Cotecna's Conformity Assessment initiatives through rigorous testing, inspection, and certification processes supports the harmonization of standards, strengthens local institutions, improves trade quality, and safeguards consumer interests across Africa. This commitment directly aligns with the panel's focus on enhancing Africa's capacity to ensure high standards in goods and services through improved quality infrastructure.
