Cotecna Notified by GSO for Water Conservation Products Certification

Cotecna is delighted to share our latest contribution towards sustainability. We have been notified by the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) for the Gulf Technical Regulation for Water-Consumption Conservation Products.

Therefore, Cotecna is now approved to test, inspect and issue Certificates of Conformity for water-consumption conservation products. As a result, Cotecna will help contribute towards water conservation in the Gulf region.

The products covered by this Gulf technical regulation include:

• Taps, mixers, sprayers and shattaf
• Urinal systems
• Water flow regulators attached to sanitary ware
• Water closet tanks-oriental types
• WC toilets or flush tanks (Single and dual flushing).

The new notification extends the lists of product categories Cotecna is accredited for by GSO. Cotecna is also notified for Low Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances and Children’s toys.
