Côte d'Ivoire Delegation Visits Cotecna France

As part of its contractual obligations, Cotena through its Nantes office in France welcomed a delegation the Ministry of Trade and Industry from Côte d'Ivoire. The delegation was joined by members of the Bureau National d'Etudes Techniques et de Développement (BNETD). The primary focus of the visit was to inform and showcase Cotecna’s facilities and operations in relation to the Verification of Conformity program for exports to Côte d'Ivoire.

The delegation included distinguished guests, namely Mr Alain Gervil ANOMA - Chef de Service of the MoTI, Georges YAO-YAO - Chef équipe (Auditor Financier /Conformity) BNTED, Koutien Frederic TOURE - Auditor Financier/Conformity BNETD and Oriol OUELLO – IT Auditor BNETD. The delegation had the opportunity to observe Cotecna’s rigorous testing, inspection, and certification procedures, ensuring that all processes meet the highest standards of compliance and quality. The auditors have also conducted a financial control to ensure all are in order.

Cotecna is authorized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, to issue Certificates of Conformity (COC) for exports of regulated products to Côte d'Ivoire. This visit provided an excellent opportunity for the delegation to gain a comprehensive understanding of the inner workings of the VOC program. Members of the esteemed delegation also had the opportunity to witness a physical inspection at a customer location.
