New VOC programmes with SFDA for food and cosmetic products

Cotecna has been appointed by SFDA (Saudi Food & Drugs Authority) as a Conformity Assessment Body to operate Verification of Conformity (VOC) programmes for Food and Cosmetic Products imported into Saudi Arabia.

We are also very pleased to have been approved as a Certification Body for approval of food establishments (QMSS Certificates /ISO 22000 and HACCP Certificates).

These new programmes, which cover both regulated cosmetic and food products, differ from the existing SASO-SALEEM programme, and will start with immediate effect. Cotecna is therefore authorised to issue Certificates of Conformity (COC) for exports of all cosmetics products and for exports of selected regulated foodstuff to Saudi Arabia.
